Hey! I’m Darren Cooper.
I’m a full-service, remote music producer based in the United States. My production style leans towards mellow indie rock meets dark pop that’s guitar-driven and blends organic instruments with hard-hitting electronic elements. Most of the artists I work with would describe me as down-to-earth and always positive.
I’ve had an extensive background as an artist myself in the industry… Signed as a writer/producer, have written for label projects, had sync placements, played live, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I understand the “life of an artist” and I bring that experience to every interaction I have with the artists that I work with.
I have a soft spot for helping artists who are newer to the game (1-2 releases or less) although I can equally help more established acts. If you’re inspired by Halsey, Death Cab For Cutie, Jon Bellion, Lorde, or The Band Camino then we will most certainly vibe together! I love creating catchy music that is honest and has an edge to it.
